Line and Shape
My pictures for line and shape were taken in my backyard. The pictures were taken from all different angles. In photos 1,3,and 4 I was very close to what I was capturing, however in photos 2, 5, and 6 I was further away. My pictures are horizontal and vertical. In all of my photos the rule of thirds was considered. Picture 6 has many types of lines in many different directions that guide the eye through the picture.
Pattern, Rythym, and Texture
I think photo 4 is my best photo. I was very close to the subject in this photo. This photo was taken above the subject and it is vertical. The subject takes up the entire photo, so it does not follow the rule of thirds. This photo is an example of pattern because the diamond shape in the wine rack is repetitive. The levels were adjusted in photo 2 because some areas, such as the upper left corner, were too dark. Image 6 is the weakest image. It is overexposed on the left side and slightly underexposed on the right side.
The best exposed image is photo is photo 3. In this image the levels only needed to be adjusted a small amount. The track is dark so the white lines stand out, but the sky also has different shades and didn't fade.
